Hi fab friends! Coming at’cha today with another work approved outfit for your 9-5! I love luxe materials. Who doesn’t? Todays look is a gorgeous leather dress and pop of personality with a silk scarf.

This dress is the perfect silhouette for work. The longer hem and short sleeves make it a staple piece in my work wardrobe. And leather is such a great fall/winter fabric.

I know how amazing and versatile black is, but your girl loves some color! How to add a bit of personality to this dress was my main concern. I remembered then, the silk scarf that I had bought on my trip to NYC in January. It did just the trick! This scarf has such a fun mix of patterns that I couldn’t not pick it up. Since getting this one in January I also picked up this one here in Dallas. I love the florals and added colors of my second scarf and will be sure to add more to my collection as the season gets more acceptable for scarves!

If neck scarves aren’t your thing, but you love the added personality, never fear. You don’t have to wear a scarf on your neck! You can wear it in your hair or tied on a bag, like I have done here. There are so many ways to add this fun touch to an outfit.

Do I sometimes feel that I look like a flight attendant with the addition of these adorable neck scarves? Yes. But why should they have all the fun? Something in me just does not think to put jewelry with an outfit all the time, but a hat or a scarf and I am there.
