Father’s Day. A day to celebrate dad. For me, I always want to go above and beyond for my dad, but he is so low-key and says he doesn’t want anything. This leads to a good bit of stress on me the closer father’s day gets. I purposed to do better this year and thought I would document my favorite items to help out a fellow favorite child keep their spot. 😉
This weekend I had the opportunity to go home and see my family. I’ve been living in Dallas, TX for 11 weeks now, and being from South Carolina, going home isn’t the easiest thing to accomplish. And while I was there mostly for my youngest brother’s graduation – Congratulations Ben! – my biggest desire was to go to the beach while I was home.

When I started this blog I had so many ideas with not a ton of time to execute them. Now, I have transitioned from being a student to being a working woman I have hit a groove in my routine where I have found some time to write.
So, as you can tell from the title, today I am going to tell you all about my trip to New York City I took in January with my friend Hailey to attend the NRF Student Program!
