My 2021 Swimsuit Collection

Collage of swimsuits

Back in 2019 I bought 10 swimsuits from SHEIN and reviewed them. It was one of my most popular posts! Because of the sheer volume of swimsuits I owned and the fact that not much was happening in the summer of 2020, I did not buy any new swimwear last year. However, I have come to some new realizations about what I do and don’t like in a swimsuit and decided this year was a great year to revamp my collection. While several items are from SHEIN, I also purchased suits from Cupshe, Dippin’ Daisys, and Target!

Micro Trip: Denver, CO

Girl in fore ground beginning the Royal Arch Trail

On July 31, I worked a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Even the views from the airport are stunning. I decided that when I had days off the next week I wanted to come back to Wyoming and maybe see Yellowstone National park. I brought the idea up to my brother, Will, who asked if he could come along. “Of course you can!” I said, and we started planning. However, Wyoming is rather expensive so 24 hours out, we changed up the plan and decided to go to Denver, Colorado instead. Here’s how you can throw together a last minute trip to Denver.

I am Getting Furloughed

View our of airplane door looking a wing and engine with mountains in the background.

Unless you’ve been on an isolated, soul searching expedition deep in the wilderness up until reading this post, you no doubt know all about COVID-19 and how it’s impacting our daily lives. (And if you have, can you send me the deets?) I would venture to say few know it better than those in the aviation industry. April was a WILD time of flying only a handful of people in planes that hold 160+ passengers. As summer pushes on and fall approaches, we are seeing more of a return to air travel. But we are no where near where we were this time last year. My and other airlines have a surplus in workers that need to be reduced so that these companies can continue to operate.

Flight Attendant Favorites: Personal Item

Must Have Backpack featured photo

Traveling is one of the most rewarding things you can do. It stretches your comfort zone and exposes you to new ideas. It can also be very stressful. Especially when air travel is involved. So many rules to follow on what you can and cannot bring, time sensitive planning, and how to haul everything are just a few of the stressors when planning to fly. As an individual who flys for work now (it’s literally my job lol) I have come across a few items that make it easier. Today I am sharing with you my favorite ’personal item’ backpack!

My First Fab Fit Fun Box | Is it Worth it?

Me sitting on a swing holding the fab fit fun spring box

Well ladies, they got me. After years of resisting all the social media ads, Fab Fit Fun got me to sign up for their spring 2020 box. How did this happen? And why did I, before receiving this first box, go ahead and pay in advance for a year’s worth of boxes? I’m here in a completely unsponsored post to tell you about my experience thus far with what seems to be the most popular quarterly box subscription service there is.

Micro Trip: Tulum, Mexico

This year was the first of many atypical holiday seasons for me. While Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years were crazy (I worked on all of them), I still had some time off to escape the dreary cold in Boston. When 2 friends and I had the same 3 days off we knew we had to go somewhere. My only conditions were that our destination was warm and budget friendly. This birthed our girls’ getaway to Tulum!
