Welcome to Freckled and Fabulous, my name is Emily and I am so glad you’re here!

(The short Origin Story)

After growing up and graduating from college in South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!), I made the scary choice to pick up and move halfway across the country to Dallas, TX. There I found a city I love with incredible friends a few more things to do that my hometown of 1,000 people offered. And while Dallas was amazing, my job in retail management was not where I saw myself as someone who studied fashion in school. After applying to plenty of things in my field and getting no where, on a whim I applied to be a flight attendant, and would you know, that’s what stuck!

After spending 10 months being based in Boston, MA, my transfer was approved and I’m back in Dallas based at DFW! What started as a ‘fashion blog’ has turned into so much more than that.

I started Freckled and Fabulous while in college and have been… sporadic at best in keeping up with it. I’m hoping to change that and have a lot of ideas I’m excited to share. You can follow along on my Instagram to stay up to date on when I post + fun flight attendant life posts on stories.

Here you can read about fashion, recipes, travel, and any advice I think is worth sharing while navigating adulthood. Along with a few ‘life updates’ that may be more of a digital journal. But hey, I think it’s cool to hear what other people are doing so maybe you do too.
